Astri Cozumel Triathlon 2026

Welcome to the Cozumel Triathlon 2026!

Cozumel is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful paradises in Mexico and the world. The beauty of the Caribbean Sea and the island itself make it a wonderful location for triathlons. It is the largest island in the Mexican Caribbean and boasts one of the world’s largest coral reefs. Swimming in the Caribbean Sea is a true delight, and the cycling and running routes along the coast are unparalleled. All triathletes and their companions will be able to enjoy both the triathlon and the beautiful Caribbean island.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
  • Location: Cozumel, Quintana Roo.
  • Headquarters: Chankanaab Park
  • Transition zone location: In Chankanaab Park, located on the South Coastal Highway km 9, South Hotel Zone, 77600 Cozumel, Quintana Roo.
  • Departure times: 6:30 am – Sprint and Olympic Triathlons begin, age categories, Junior 14-15, Super Sprint and WomanUp (start times by category will be published in the Athlete’s Guide, one week before the event).
  • 12:30 pm – Start Triathlon 3kids Cozumel.

 Modalities and distances:

  • Junior 14-15 years / Super Sprint (men only) / WomanUp (women only) – Swimming 400m / Cycling 10km / Running 2.5km
  • Sprint Triathlon (individual and relay) – Swimming 750 m / Cycling 20 km / Running 5 km
  • Olympic Triathlon (individual and relay) – Swimming 1,500 m / Cycling 40 km / Running 10 km
  • Sprint Duathlon (individual) – Run 5 km / Cycle 20 km / Run 2.5 km
  • 3kids Children’s Triathlon – Children aged 6 to 13
