Ironman Cozumel 2025
Cozumel is not only a beach lover’s paradise, it is also an experienced IRONMAN host city. Off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, the area has more than 14 miles of reefs to explore, as well as archaeological zones, protected natural areas, a National Park and endless expanses of turquoise water and white sand beaches.
Cozumel’s privileged climate allows visitors from all over the world to participate in world-class sporting events and satisfy their thirst for adrenaline while practicing some of the most exciting activities in the world.
Ironman is the most demanding triathlon event in the world. Participating athletes are expected to cover 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running. All three stages have to be covered within 17 hours. Average completion time is around 12 hours.
